Enjoy the Nature in Primrose Hill, NW1
Primrose Hill lies in the northern part of London, within the London Borough of Camden, and just on the northern part of Regent’s Park. Primrose Hill takes its name from the hill in the middle upon which you can have a great view of Central London and the two areas of Belsize Park and Hampstead. It was once merely part of a chase which later construction was set upon and many Victorian terraced houses were built.
Primrose Hill is an urban village, but it is actually quite expensive to live there as it is one of the more prosperous districts in London. The Hill has its historical and cultural side as well, having even English Heritage blue plaques which are dedicated to some of the historical figures who lived there. Among those plaques you can see the names of poet William Butler Yeats and writer Sylvia Plath. Other things to see in the vast green area is the Museum of Everything made for ‘outsider art’, or you can go to the ZSL London Zoo.
